Andrea Dama is an Italian electronic music producer, mixing engineer, sound designer, and label owner based in Barcelona.
His breakthrough as a producer came with Emotional Tripper, his debut album on the acclaimed Norwegian label Sex Tags UFO (June 2023). Co‑produced with DJ Fett Burger, the album received strong critical attention, including “Best Album of July 2023” features from Resident Advisor and Groove Magazine, and helped establish Andrea as a key voice in contemporary electronic music. He has two new albums scheduled for release in Fall 2026 on Salgari Records (Turin) and the newly launched Hypersoft Label (Berlin).
Andrea’s practice has been shaped by twelve years in Berlin's underground music scene, including a long-standing DJ residency at the legendary queer party Cocktail d’Amore, as well as his devotion to record digging as a source of inspiration and sonic research.
He is also co‑founder of Evasione Digitale, a vinyl‑only label dedicated to rediscovering and reissuing overlooked ’90s and ’00s Italian techno and progressive records; and the founder of Protofuture, an experimental platform for his own music and for emerging artists with unconventional sounds, often presented through cassette releases and small‑run editions.
Andrea holds a Master’s Degree in Music & Sound Production for Entertainment Experiences from ENTI – Universitat de Barcelona. His sound design work spans short films, gallery installations and site‑specific commissions.
